i just passed my CDL class A yesterday. I am trying to decide if I should go with Werner or Western Express. Any insight or suggestions for a new driver or other company recommendations? I’m Located in the northeast.

i would say neither, both are slim ball companies. i personally kind of like tanker, as a new driver that would be prime or schnieder

I second the tanker option. Hazmat endorsement being a given. Where exactly in the northeast, driver?

Rhode Island. Would you recommend Prime or Schneider too?

I don't have personal experience with either Prime or Schneider but I have been pulling tankers since the start and wouldn't change a thing. Good money, good equipment and good dispatch.

I am a very happy HazMat Environmental driver. Our main yard is in Buffalo, NY.
I am biased but tankers have provided me a good living for the past 11 years.

Neither. Look and see if there is an Airgas in your area. They hire new drivers and are a good company if you want to be home every night.

I'd put a little thought into flatbedding. But not at Werner or Western Express. There are many decent flatbed companies that will be a better option than a van or reefer. Although I've never done it, I'd say tanker could be a good option too.
