Had a jake brake gasket starting to leak a little which I despise, so I'm replacing all 3 with new gaskets. Going to go ahead and adjust everything while I'm in there too. Just a little upkeep while I'm at the house for a few days. Bought new bearings / races / seals for the front axle as well, along with new shoes and drums. That will leave only the transmission & diff's that I haven't had apart and rebuilt or replaced. Last time I had the front jacked up I heard a little noise in the left front, I could tell the bearings were getting rough. Do it now before the snow flies.

Overlooking the farmstead. Just love looking at the beef cattle on a picked corn field

I’m planning on putting one of those on my pickup. The idea of Mopar charging $80 for fuel filters AND nobody else selling them makes my blood pressure spike whenever I think about it. -

Only problem is my truck has a separate fuel/water separator, and that is another $80.
That’s why I’ve been looking into a FASS. You can get screw-ons with the same micron rating at Grainger for 10 bucks. -
OLDSKOOLERnWV, Oxbow, Hurricane69 and 3 others Thank this.
