A verbal agreement carries the same weight as a written one. It's easier to prove a written one. They said this in front of hundreds if not thousands of drivers. It's pretty easy to prove. I've seen no evidence it isn't their intention to route you through home so you can unload if you quit. If it's actually your policy why would you lie about it to a court? To get out of a relatively trivial expense? It would be far easier to just quit saying that.

I don't know what they say to new hires in orientation, if this is covered or not. But if the OP's dispatcher said "yeah, we'll route you home", and then denies that he said that, what do you have to stand on? He said/he said?

My post was for the benefit of current and future drivers. If you want routed through home do the above. That isn't a guarantee you will be, but it's your best chance of it happening. -

Kb may be the biggest scumbags in soiuxland but nobody is going to route you home to clean out the truck ..get real ! Lol
