i can't see some places are charging 3 or 4 thousand dollars, this place
CRT near Houston $695.00 going up in may $795.00 i'd rather get the
training and work for the company after, i guy right out of school with
no experience will be tough to find work i'd say -
Anybody have any info? What is their agent network like? How hard is it to get good paying loads with these guys? Thanks for any info.
-
Stay Away... The Agents keep the good loads for their own trucks the O/O get the cheap freight.

From first hand experience, run for the hills.
I ran with this outfit from Jan '08 thru March '08.
Here's some threads to give you more info:

I worked for them back in 2004.. I only lasted 1 year.. they totaly ticked me off..
They wouldn't take a state court document that said I was innocent of all charges in a accident I was involved in.. They still insisted on putting a preventable accident on my DAC even though I had been fully exonorated of all charges by the state of FL..
They charged me for a load adjustment... $1200... when 3 out of 4 loads had problems from that shipper.. (Identical product, count, and destination...)
They sure as heck won't stand behind any driver for any reason.. they immediatly side with their customer, label you guilty untill proven innocent (Even then it isn't a guarentee you will be innocent then!)
Their freight was cheap & heavy.. Hope you like steel mills and tarping. If you do not have your own trailer they will rent you one.. I think mine was $165 a week.. -
Anybody had a good experience with Malone? Cause...it does seem that people with bad experiences are more apt to reply. I'm not fishing for BS, just your experience. Thanks.
-
If you look throughout my posts on this forum you will see that I am a straight shooter. I don't BS around about anything. If I were you, I would seriously consider a different company to lease on to.
bobobrazil Thanks this. -
Scarecrow03, david07003 and bobobrazil Thank this.

I would concur with Crow too. He was pretty miserable when he was leased on to them. He was too broke to even pay attention.
bobobrazil and Scarecrow03 Thank this.
