Where's u tankers loading at this morning

While I was unloading caustic at the Woodland mill in Baileyville ME., one of the O/O out of Superior Carriers' Auburn terminal showed up right behind me with caustic also. I had a nice talk with the guy and I've seen him around quite a bit. They've been helping haul some of the caustic out of Fall River MA. for us, which is coming to an end, because Searsport finally got caustic.

I also found out that some of our drivers based in Auburn have been riding around with a caustic trailer where the internal valve wouldn't close. God only knows how long they've been doing that. Those fools don't inspect anything and don't tell anyone that something is wrong when they do know. The last time I unloaded bleach, the filter on the discharge leaked like sieve! It made quite the mess. I have a load of bleach tomorrow, so I'm already wondering what's wrong with the trailer.

 

Yeah, that's it. There's like 3 different names lol. I love their lounge! They tend to take a while though. I've had to take a 10 down the road a few times.

 

Vacation over, 9 days went quick
Loaded this morning headed to Wi.
This place i loaded at makes you give up your keys while loading, so i gave him my fake key, he comes down from tbe rack and asks me to back up a little, so i did and he didnt notice that he had my key while i moved the truck, haha!

 

Mack is a good guy. The terminal over at High Point is a lot nicer than our Wilmington terminal. I didnt

They ask for the keys at Goose Creek, SC to unload too. I always five them one of my spare keys. They put the key in a box right next to the truck. Apparently a driver left without paperwork so they want to avoid that. They forgot to give me the key the last time I was there so I retrieved it, did the weigh out, and cane back to finish up paperwork.

I'm kicking back at the house. About 40 drivers came back for the holiday. I'm in no hurry to run, so I'll be one of the last ones back out.
