You should seriously consider following all rules of the road down to the letter. The speed limit is 65 do 65, speed limit 30 do 30. The habits you have are hard to break and if you get another ticket it will show a pattern.
You need to get in the habit of driving like a true professional. Which means not worrying about pressure to drive faster than the limit. Practice checking your mirrors every 20-30 seconds, not riding alongside other vehicles when not necessary, only passing when you have room to complete the pass, reading ALL signage and being in the correct lane well before, two hands on the wheel (this actually takes practice for a lot of drivers).
Basically it comes down to control. Self control, absolute control of your vehicle, controlling the speed and SPACE around your vehicle.SplashDogs Thanks this. -
Including the signs telling you to obey signs.
dngrous_dime and SplashDogs Thank this. -
Will do, I've been working extremely hard on safer driving and I appreciate your advice. Thank you.

I see that sign all the time here in Texas and it doesn't make any sense. If someone is driving along and not obeying signs, he's not going to change cus another sign said to.
If a thief comes up and grabs your walled and takes off, you yelling at him to "come back" will have about the same effect those obey signage signs have. -
I don't think we have those signs in the state i live in (I've never seen them at least) but they are definitely a little redundant aren't they lol? If somebody is already in the "I don't care" mindset, that sign certainly isn't going to change their mind..Last edited: Nov 30, 2017

Don't enroll in CDL school until you have picked a company to work for. Once you start school you will not have time toi pick a good company and if you borrowed money for school you will have a payment looming. Choice of schools is not very important except if the company you want to work for will not accept their training.
School can be paid for by your savings, taking out a loan at school, trucking company Tuition Reimbursement, WIA/WOIA grant from your state's unemployment office, or by signing a school/work contract with some trucking companies. In thse contracts you usually sing a 1 year contract to work for the company in exchange they pay for your school. Those companies may pay less per mile. There is no free lunch.
Avoid CR England even if they "promise" to hire you and deliver gold coins weekly to your house. They will talk you into "leasing" a truck and you will be 100% responsible for all financial costs of operating that truck, even if CR England doesn't give you loads t run. CR England is a truck leasing company that pretends it ships freight.SplashDogs Thanks this.
