This is why I said in an earlier post, there's some good eatin' to be had right now. I'm going to ride the wave into the new year and take some time off.

Ride the wave as long as it lasts into January driver. Get to $26,000 too. Always get it when it’s there for the taking. Come mid or late January your run will get shopped. Don’t believe all the hype about EOBR inflating rates until you see it sustained. My guess is that desperados on a ticking 14 hour clock will play right into the brokers hands.

Fortunately, I've worked my into what seems to be a decent semi-dedicated route.

Well, rollin coal, I'm gonna do 26k this month. If I hadn't taken off 5 days around Thanksgiving, I could of easily done 30k for the month.

    Hang 10 :)

On time off running errands as usual. My trailer is wearing out the rear axle really fast. I haven't had it that long and Utility told me they aligned it before I bought it. The only cause I can think of is bad alignment. Took it to Great Dane in town as that is the only place to align a trailer. The guy told me he can tell me right now if it's been aligned. He walks back there, looks at it, and says this trailer has never been aligned since it came out of the factory. I asked, how can you possibly know that? Apparently all trailer manufacturers put these rubberized caps on the suspension where you adjust the alignment, once it is aligned again a new metal cap is put in its place. Learn something new everyday. It is supposed to be ready sometime today.

New trailers are not aligned at the factory. They don't have time for that with a production line moving. It gets eye balled to spec. Part of dealer prep is alignment but none of them ever do it. They'll put a shiny new bolt/nut under there when they adjust the axles. The old one has that rubberized undercoating spray on it like everything under there. That's how he knew yours hadn't been aligned because they didn't replace that bolt with a shiny silver new one like they would have done if they had actually aligned it.

Mine came from the factory with a measurement spec sheet showing it was right. Hand written and signed.

Mine didn't. I picked it up at the factory in Terre Haute, IN and it dogtracked from that day on until I got it to the dealer a few weeks later and they fixed it.

I don't know. Just know mine did. Maybe the difference between manufacturers or fixed spread and sliding tandem?
