Linden bulk, liquid cargo or quality carriers

what do you guys think about schnieder tanker for o/o you can choose your own loads. they arent telling me a % number?

 

Nobody talks about the Schneider bulk I/C program. I see very few non company trucks. Most of The ones I do see are third party carriers, not leased to schneider. The program itself has had an extremely rocky start for bulk.

 

Schneider pays cpm and its attrocious. Last time i looked it was $1.35/mi WITH fsc, no thanks. I do like the idea of self dispatch from a company loadboard, but beyond that novelty SNBC isn't a good option for O/O because of the low linehaul and fsc.

That was changed early this year, the program now pays %. But even on the % plan, it isn't much better.

Consider this, they just completely undercut Ruan on the Ecolab account. They cut the rates so bad they are giving company drivers a $15,000 pay cut just to try and make up for the dirt cheap rates.
@scythe08 do you really want to work with with a company that runs as cheap as possible?

 

I did very well at CBSL, but the Chicago terminal, so I was a big fish little pond. Houston is a big pond.

CC Cob is not a bad gig you of are flexible about getting home on Friday. I've talked to a couple of their O/O's. They seam to be making money.
