I've run into a big problem. The kind of problem that people like to have.
Along with this job. Yes, there are definite caution flags with this. The Terminal Manager has told me to make sure this is what I want to do before showing up to Denver. So it isn't in concrete, so to speak.
With my graduation from CDL school this week... I'm getting all kinds of offers/interest in me.
Yes, I have passed the first two parts of the Class A CDL today. The inspection/brake check, and backing. The examiner had a big smile on his face when I was done backing. I know he wished everybody got finished that quickly...cut and dry is the way I do it. Driving is tomorrow.
    Don't know what to do?
Got a couple others I really like. They have good training too.
Possibility of learning the business end well. Become an O/O one day.
I admit. Talked with one of the best on the phone today. He told me I should go with the pneumatic tanker. If it works out. I'll be golden. .... If not.... He'll still be interested in me. Even if the tanker doesn't work out in the first couple weeks.
It's nice having problems like this....

Not to be rude, but most large companies want everyone they can get right out of school.

That is one reason I like this company. It isn't a big company. Only about 400 trucks. That's all. Also, lets face it. Hauling bulk flour from mills to processing, is pretty stable.
I understand what you mean. There is a big reason the big ones recruit in the CDL schools.

I have to admit. Since actually getting my Class A license, today at the DMV. Things are definitely different. I feel like I can breathe again. It's definitely nice.
I'm looking forward to the Bohemian life.
