Hope everyone has a great Christmas. I will finally be headed to orientation next week or the week after. Have you guys had any problems with pm's? As in they make you sit and wait for them or take their sweet time getting to them? I'm a real hard @$& when it comes to making sure my truck is taken care of. Always have been even as a company driver.

Nope no problems there in past year or so. We have been getting in and out purty good. Something breaks on road now it's much easier to get OKs to fix on the road.
    Good luck on orientation.
The miles are there all you got to do is drive them at speed to get them. Too many dogit, and then don't get them. Then sit in terminal and complain. Don't be picky but do be sensible. Pay attention to route and times and you will be OK.
This week hubby headed to NC for a 2 stop. Got get it done by Friday so he can get back up to reset. As I said I Don't want to see him till Christmas. He needs to run and run hard to make up loss money. I have car insurance due this next month, really bad time on that for sure.

Hubby now running back to Michigan with a two stop load that was a two stop pick up. Right after his last pickup he ended up in a TA with clutch issue. He will need a new clutch as it's past readjustment. He hopes he makes it before it gives out totally.

Sorry ma'am . I think everyone's week been ####ty this week. I should have rented a car and drove to orientation. A #### 10 drive under normal circumstances took Greyhound 27 with a 12 hour layover in Cincy. Go figure.... Made it to the no tell ( definitely isn't a hotel with no fridge or microwave) oh and the restaurant was closed by the time me and another got here. Hoping like crazy this isn't a sign. We all know the Lord works in mysterious ways sometimes. Hope this is one of the better ones.

The Swan is bare minimum. They should give you a card to use in the diner that recharges every morning. (Unless they don’t do that anymore)
I think you are a day early too. You’ll have time to eat before getting on the bus I imagine. They may knock out drug tests and physical early. It will be boring and slow, depending on class size.
Good luck! (Wednesday they feed you lunch regardless, for everyone)

Well, hubby made it back up to his 34 off and put truck in maintenance shop. Guess what since clutch was working they didn't replace it. We were told it's all about a stupid bonus and I mean STUPID. Seems mechanics and shop get a bonus if they Don't spend money. That's right you read it correctly. Now here's the funny part. Hubby's clutch just went and fully broke on route to TX.
So he now has to be towed to a shop to have a New one put in. This will cost 3 x the amount if they did it themselves. We are Not upset at all for either way it's our maintenance fund. Would rather use it than not.

So this is what has been happening for past couple of months. No biggie were covered just sux loss of time but at least he has some leeway there as long as it gets fixed by tomorrow morning. This just goes to show that a .15 cents a mile maintenance fund is Priceless.
