just got a ticket for failing to register my car. Will this results in any negative action towards me becoming a owner/op driver with a large company like landstar? I know the qualification process is very stringent (I already got denied and told to wait a few months). Question is will this harm my career or changes of being hired?

I do not believe so. it is not a moving ticket violation.

No its not a moving violation. Like expired inspection sticker, nobody cares about that.

The thing is i am inbetween jobs now and need a pretty spotless record to get into landstar . They told me to reapply in jan because the qual team cannot read a traffic report that clearly points out i am the no citation VICTIM in a traffic accident(rsomehow that disqualified my app). Told me my record would be clean in jan 2018 (already was clean!...except for this now)

Failure to register car might as well just tear up your CDL and start applying at Circle K's.
Without question one of the most egregious acts that can be committed.buddyd157 Thanks this. -

I think it's like DUI, Illegal drugs, refuse piss test, talking on hand held, Wreckless driving, failure to register car.
