If you take the discounted equipment price with new contract then you will be on the limited plan from then on. That's how Verizon just got me. Plus I have had nothing but problems with connectivity since then -
I have been going around with them for months trying to get this taken care of. I have been through 1000 tech support sessions and finally today I told them I've had it and if they don't end me a different modem I will take all my accounts to another providor and my attorney assures me they can not hold me to a contract when they can not provide the service and connection that I require so I also will not be paying any early disconnect fees on all the accounts as well. -
I'm looking at getting a laptop. I will probably go with Verizon, I've had my cell with them for over 6 yrs and never had a problem. With 5gb can I do anything or will I be very limited. What about millenicom, anyone used that. Also looking at on of the devices that plug in to USB to hook up a antenna, any opinions on these. Thanks for your help.

I wasn't led to believe that it was unlimited, and I knew better before I went in. I have been a happy Verizon customer for 12 years so it was only natural that I would go with them. One of the other forum members, Double L, says that he regularly goes over his 5 gb and has to pay the overages.
