Grass fires north of Amarillo. Not a good day for it either.

 

Sitting at the elevator. They want us to haul two a day out of here but according to the nice gray haired lady inside all the fellas are out delivery anhydrous so here I sit.

 

I'm gonna have to change the battery in my tarp remote.....this getting out to push the button is for the birds.

So I got to my third stop, at Roberto Clemente State Park: and find out I can't get into the site. I call the site foreman who says "I hope you're in a straight truck, if you're in a tractor trailer: you're ####ed!"
The grey dots on the route on google there are for walking... on the walking path! And the odd angle of travel at the bottom of the pic is apparently now a corkscrew ramp for equipment to get onsite.

So I've rented a straight truck for Tuesday to go back down there. Moffett would have come in real handy.. for about the dozenth time this year.

 

Feels good to have a loaded wagon.

Got a call few minutes ago, guess I'm loading up Sunday and delivering Monday morning in Dunkirk, NY. Unload and reload in same building.
