It's just a shame that this woman's past had to be made known to the kids, but there's always an irrational, loud-mouthed parent (or two... or three... or...) in the group. It was bound to happen.
The woman's past really doesn't bother me. What hurts me is now that her former profession has been made known to the children, there will be questions asked and answers required. It just adds to the on-going erosion of our children's innocence.
Sometimes I just feel old... <sigh>

I have to agree with the comment on the size. They just don't look good. -
That's my point, and opinion, too
Although, her input COULD be beneficial if she discourages
kids from pursuing her former career.

she gave up more money to help kids......

She would be a hit at the senior home!

Personally I think the woman deserves a chance. No one is perfect, everyone has something in their past (or present). If she's living decent now she should be allowed to do her job. It was wrong for the school to go public and most likely the school district will wind up being sued.
I'd give her a chance. Wait, I'm wrong. I just read that she continues to run a pay for porn website. It's not in her past, it's in her present. I'd fire her for immoral behavior, because most schools have that clause. -
what one does in their own time is no ones buisness, now if she advertises her site to the kids at school..thats entirely different
In the bible Jesus saves a prostitute
although No sex for teachers law might pass -
Yes, in the Bible Jesus does save a prostitute, but His words to her were "go and sin no more." He labeled what she was doing as "SIN" (which I know is an unpopular word these days), and gives her the opportunity for a clean slate. It doesn't say He erased from the community's collective memory that this woman had been a prostitute, nor does it say He made everything right in her life. He simply said "go and sin no more." When you are truly touched by the Master and His spirit enters your being, those words are all you need to hear.
JMHO, but I don't think giving up acting in porn movies just to continue profiting from porn qualifies as "sinning no more." -
Does anyone have the name of her website. I just want to see what the school district is dealing with.

Those a just a lil too big.
