Fleet side, too. Warehouse is a different story. It’s too bad you couldn’t have started there. You’d have a different story. I’m in FL now.

I think he did start in warehouse he had lift gate and went to FL.
Sorry Nico but we did warn that communication was bad and shop sucked ect. As far as we know now they are not doing many LP anymore. They have cleaned up yard. 3 people have quite in major areas one being shop. Fleet and warehouse are totally different in operation which is to be expected.

You can't run a equipment based business if your mechanics will not do the work because of bonus. Person in charge of supplies for shop will not stock necessary parts so he gets a bonus for not spending money. That's stupid and nuts and good way to loose company.
3 days now on orientation hmm that's bad seems Dave is getting worse. Bet they were half days too. He expects you to know it all being a driver. But they do not run their Peoplenet like other companies. For company driver side they still run it like OO and expect you to do and know stuff you don't. It's like pulling teeth we know.

Now to top it all off I think I have the flu! Lmao just gets better and better. Took my temp this morning it's a little over 100. I ain't trying to drive like that. I don't want to mess up and hurt someone else or myself on the road. They say bad stuff happens in three's I'm starting to believe it.

Update and not a good one.
Hubby is still in motel. Shop is waiting on transmission to be delivered. Yesterday it was 30 miles away near Chicago we guess at their main office. Xpo has it and last we heard it's going to KY before getting to shop. That's 150 miles out of way. Meanwhile hubby sits in motel for over a week now. Have the month shot. Good news when it's done his fuel mileage will improve. But we will be in serious bill issues again dang it.

Oh crap that's ruff. Here is how hubby handled it. The fruit juice flavor of Monster, he likes pink can me orange can, taken with Advil. Lots of OJ for sure. Remember you are driver if you have time till next delivery take it. Sleep more stop sooner use that extra time. Tell them your sick too in case you need to delay because you can't drive. Take care praying for you.

It’s in the rules, if you are fatigued or ill, you can opt not to drive.

Gosh cybercat. I'm sorry so many things have been going wrong for you guys this month. You've got a great can do attitude though. It will get better and you can be together for Christmas. Tell hubby to stay safe out there!

    Thank you Uturngirl.

So we now have new shop manager. Thank goodness for the one it is too. Turns out hubby needs a new sending unit now so they have to order one in for him. No I am not telling who new manager is as I don't want to jinx it.
Right now hubby doing a run to Oh and back. Says truck is running better than it has on some area in a long time. Being an ex military diesel mechanic pays off in this, which is Why we went this route. Older truck is right up hubby Ally so to speak.
Everyone stay safe roads are snowy and icy up north.
