No, not really. They may deem you rehabilitated, but it’s still up to the officer to accept that after reviewing the persons file, so it never really goes away, unless you get it expunged. But it’s neither here nor there.

You create a history with every border crossing. I use my passport (mandatory) to get into US and I breeze through as there is a pattern created. Same as returning to Canada. Was down to border today pickup up parts.
Its the folks who raise a red flag that are under constant scrutiny when it comes to border crossing. Good all went well for you, with the exception of paper work...

 

i was running pretty hard this spring on cross border loads of fertilizer. and crossing a bunch of different ports. depending on where i was going to/coming from one of the normal questions is when was the last time you were in Canada. the answer would either be yesterday or maybe even earlier that same day. then the following question would be where did you cross at... one time i got mixed up and said the wrong port. they didn't like that....lol

when you cross often though its pretty painless 99% of the time. couple routeen questions scan your paps or pars number ok have a nice day.

sometimes ports i cross at often its hey how are you today, what are you hauling today, where are you going, how long do you plan to be in Canada. ok have a good day.
