coraopolis has long been known as being the best bulk training center for SNI. Houston is right behind, so you're in good hands. I honestly just hate that yard.
Houston is alsonabgreat place to plan for future jobs. There a ton of guys to talk to about exploring future areas of your career

There's way too much to consider to even begin to answer that. It depends on what you want to do. You may love tankers and hate OTR. You may want regional. You may want part time work. You may hate loading and unloading and jist w ant to drive. Or you may want to load/unload everyday. Get your year in and think about where you want your career to go.

I recall reading about you saying per diem and cent pay, what did you end up liking more

You get per diem regarldess if schneider does it for you or not. It's a tax deduction, you can figure it out on your own at the end of the year based on the number of days you slept in the truck. Don't pay schneider to do this for you, its not worth it. You lose .02/mi x 100,000 miles = $2000. Just set your deductions up to 5-6 and skip the per diem thing they offer.

I like my group...I'm the only one in it xD. Feels weird going through orientation all by yourself.

Day 4 done. In class room only day. Mapping and trip planning, hours of service and such. Very informative for those of us who didn't know anything about it. Tomorrow is another day, tomorrow we do pumping practices for the whole day, I hear its hard work, we'll see. Everything seems to be going smooth, easy part over.
