If you tire easily I would say you might have picked the wrong profession especially for line haul. Please don't get me wrong but some places like Air Freight look for experience prior to hiring. Most places like NM Trucking will take you but most runs are during the evening. Good Luck!

Well, you’ve never actually driven yet, though I have no doubt you will very soon, but you really have no concept of what’s “easy to do” in this industry.

I say that with respect, but that’s a pretty strong statement for a guy who has zero experience

    I have a CLP.

I've driven across the country... not in an 18-wheeler.

I’m not worried about it either. I’ve done this- you haven’t. You can continue to offer advice and suggestions in every thread all you like- but you have no concept of the industry. No one with zero experience does.

Like I said, I mean that with respect- and I’ve treated you with respect (which you haven’t done with me with the “lol”’s and “if you say so” comments) but that’s all good. Just be honest when you make statements about “what’s easy to do”. What’s easy in a car, isn’t always easy in an 18 wheeler.

But it’s good that you’ve driven more than 11 hours in a car. That’s a start. I commend you for that.

If you say so is not a disrespectful comment.. neither is "lol".. ?

Driving for long hours and saying awake for long periods of time at all hours are two things I have a lot of experience with. Telling me that I don't know is just not true.

What in my comment was incorrect? You can build stamina. I started when I was 18 driving vans for a newspaper overnight. Had to get used to it. Driving to Seattle and back was hard at first, but got used to it. Working back-to-back 12 hours shifts... you get used to it. Like I said, yo build stamina. Its easy. Am I wrong? *shrug*

The isssue I brought up with you was you saying driving 11hours is easy. Sure, driving a car for that length of time may very well be easy for you. But you really can’t comment on whether driving a truck that long is. Since you’ve never done it. That’s all.

I have no issue with you, I don’t get in internet spats for reasons that aren’t worth sharing- but we can both agree driving a truck is different. Sometimes it’s easy, like you say- but many times it’s downright exhausting. Most times actually.

That’s all. Like I said, I have no issue with you, but when you say something is easy that you’ve never actuallly done, just clarify. No big deal. Have a good holiday, like I said, I have no doubt you’ll be driving a truck very soon
