Our units also came with some nice little stickers/advertisements to put on the door for prime visibility by the state troopers. Hmmmm, I wonder if the sticker will be enough "proof" so the trooper just lets a driver go without any additional questions?
Since we happen to have a few extra stickers, let's start the bidding at $200.00 each!

They seem to be getting more educated on them. In past inspections, I have had them ask if I was on ELog, once I said yes that was it.
Last week I got pulled over in Kentucky for a Roadside Inspection. ( Which is dangerous as h&ll in my opinion) He wanted to check my elog, I offered to walk him through it, he said I am very familiar with these. He was, he checked my current day, last 7 days, last reset etc.Moving Forward and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

On paper, logging 15 minutes for this and that was no big deal because you could make up for the lost time elsewhere. Not so much on eLogs so drivers [me included] might tend to see how much (little) they can get away with in regards to logging On Duty time. Especially those provided with all the miles they could ever want.Last edited: Dec 17, 2017

I would expect them to play dumb until you finish then start writing you tickets. One of those will likely be for giving a false statement to police.
