Takes me about 2 minutes to pre trip my truck and trailer. I checked everything thoroughly the night before while fueling, which took any where frim 10 to 15 minutes, so the pre trip is just double checking tires wheel seals and lights.

"Good one". Says the trooper as he chuckles, while writing your ticket.

Everyday somebody gets on here and say things to troll. I know even though they are no specifics on time for pre/post inspections but post must be documented. But people who have assets to protect from Attorneys in a case of a crash will make sure you check out the truck better before you drive it to make sure it’s safe and satisfactory driver. I really think trolling and being an antagonist don’t have a place on TTR thanks

It's disturbing because you would rather get on video someone's misfortune of getting their equipment tore up instead of helping a fellow driver out.

Wrong. This is not why elogs were mandated. Elogs were mandated because the large carriers, who are the ATA, couldn't keep their steering wheel holders out of CSA point hell and keep them under their thumb. So they went elog. Then they decided they needed the playing field leveled so their competition didn't have an advantage. So we have elogs.

    Just for fun..

But in November 2015, just weeks before publishing its final rule on ELDs, the FMCSA passed a law that prohibits the coercion of drivers by motor carriers, shippers, receivers and other transportation intermediaries, effectively addressing concerns ELDs could be used to bully drivers. It also built into the final rule safeguards to prevent driver harassment, including the requirement for a mute button on the device that can help prevent a driver from being disturbed by dispatch while in the sleeper berth.

So you boys are mad that they are forcing companys to add a mute button as to not disturb you?

And again, all you guys who say it will cause more accidents, late shipments ect... all your doing is openly admiting that you were breaking the rules your paper logs claimed you followed .... and your the "good" drivers?

    Brandt Thanks this.
