Does anyone know how long your license has to be back valid after being suspended for failure to pay speeding tickets. There is not anything on the Texas DMV site saying I would have to wait so I'm assuming I could go get my CDL, but would a company hire me since my license would be back valid for less then 3 months.

I had my license suspended for failure to pay a fine in 2006. Paid the fine. License was reinstated and had no problems getting work.

How long was your license suspended for? Mine was 8 days. That’s how long it took me to get things “cleared up”

I think the bigger issue is going to be the tickets themselves.
How many and how much over.

Unless you don't have a choice wait 3 years as you will have MUCH better options. I know ####ty news but if I was in your boat I would be working a warehouse over a company like Carolina cargo

This. Suspensions based on failure to pay, failure to appear, child support, etc, don't seem to cause the same issues that other suspensions cause.

A majority of my tickets have reached the 3 year mark so it should be just those 2 left on it.

I believe only 2 should show up cause the others are over 3 years old. The last ticket i got was back in sept or october of 2015 for like 40 something in a 35 or 30 cant remember fully. Then 96 in a 70 in july of 2015.
Its been suspended since around July of 2015 so a little over 2 years.

I'm trying to stay away from the not so good companies if I can. My mom and dad have a friend with a company that hauls grain locally in NC but i would prefer OTR if I can get the opportunity to.
