It did occur to me that the same port that techs use to set the limiter is now hooked up to an internet capable device.

    What is dieselgate?

As to fines for no eld, it will be the same as any fine issued by the dot. It will be split between the feds and the issuing jurisdiction.

The only one its going to really effect is those that consistently grossly violated hos rules. To those that ran mostly legal with a little fudge here and there it will be nothing but a nuisance.

twas the night before elogs and all through the bunk,
not a trucker was worried, who would have thunk?
the truckers were nestled all snug in their spots,
with hopes that come morning there'd be empty pee lots.

Thats all I got. feel free to add on.

That's the problem with a lot of 379s. Bought by young kids with no business sense so the only way they can make a buck is to run the wheels off it. It's almost like they saw Smokey and the bandit and mistook it for a documentary

Well to be fair the run wasn't long enough to need anything. I do agree they have better things to do than worry about the truck. To many buy a 379 and can't see past the 8" pipes and half ### polished wheels and tanks to see its true condition

    spyder7723 Thanks this.

Yep. I think the 379 is the best looking truck made in the last 30 years. But far to many are owned by guys that got 500 dollar snake skin boots, big ol shiny belt buckle and the cowboy hat to match... but never used a grease gun in their life.
