Got to thinking about my customers and realized I can do this also. Possibly using the 8 day for only carrying to the places that have return trips. Making this a win situation

That's good to hear. Your one of the few I'm guessing. Did you retire or doing some other line of work?

Ok I have a question. I've been doing off duty since I sleep at home not in my truck 90% of the time. The nights I do sleep in the truck I log SB is this legal?

    Yeppers. Like Mark said.
In a nutshell Sleeper is a very specific place your body is at off duty.
I really wish they would get rid of sleeper logging, and have it all off duty.

Thanks for the info, as it looks like exactly what has been happening with our units. I used the Qualcomm unit for two years before switching over to a company on paper... and this JJ Keller product is certainly a lot different than Qualcomm. Like everything, it's just going to take some time to get used to it... I hope.
