I never itemize, well I did it once and it was a lot of work to beat the standard deduction by a few bucks.

But I asked how the new law will affect things like per diem and the like and never got a straight answer.

All the media talked about was the mortgage & SALT deductions like that was the ONLY thing that mattered.
