Any of you guys click on that map of the old CF Terminal in Fairbanks, Alaska the place almost looks occupied cut back the brush and weeds and it would look like CF was still there.
Alaska is usually kind of an odd ball state it's serviced by like Carlisel and Lyden, but CF they had there own terminal up there that CF logo forget UPS UPS claims to be the most dependable color on earth, but before there was UPS not that there the same thing CF was a freight company, but before there was UPS there was CF and UPS might boast coverage to Alaska, but CF was already there. CF already had there terminal right there in Fairbanks, I didn't see any other companies with a terminal there, but CF had one.
As someone once said long ago "Was there anything that great company (CF) couldn't do?"
The answer was back in there day no, there was nothing they couldn't do. As @DougA taught us if you walked into any freight office in the country any industry any where there was CF Tariff book on the shelf and a CF calendar on the wall. The CF sales force, was a force was out in droves it didn't matter Cleveland, Ohio or Fairbanks, Alaska the CF logo was there.
