I just disabled yard moves. Maybe that will help.

Biggest problem is the log is wrong.

I just now was able to go off duty.

I'm going to keep a separate log for tomorrow and just be nice if I get pulled in for an inspection.

Yard moves is supposed to turn off automatically when you turn off the ignition.. Did the app stay in yard move?

It may be in Yard Move when you turn off, but when you turn on, it should go to Line 4.

If you stop while in yard move and you need to go to another line, do so while the engine is still running.

    Marshmellow OS.

It showed a big 50 mile yard move.

I thought it would kick over to driveline.

Then it stuck 50 miles out.

I disabled yard move. The first time I drove a week or so ago, it worked and yard was off.

Yard move you have to manually toggle between turning it on or off. It cannot be set to automatic by a FMCSA rule.

On the Admin portal under your name/company info you can set the distance for yard moves. Default is 50 miles. I would suggest you lower that to maybe 5 miles, unless you feel you need more.

You should still be in ABORD mode (slider to the left)... the speed you select is for when you are on lines 1, 2, or 4 before you trigger a line 3 event. Note - Yard move or PC will not trigger a line 3 event unless you go past the distance you set.

You have to remember as a one person Fleet, you should have a driver log in and an admin log in.

On the admin log in you assign yourself your own log in information as a driver.

to edit your logs, sign in as admin, go to page 66 of the portal manual, then to page 68 to show how to edit the logs... you will edit them, then send back to yourself as the user, then you have to log in as the user and have to certify them again...

Hey Mark Kling, since you're a Rand McNally dude, and I have tried many times, unsuccessfully I might add, to get ahold of RMN Customer Service... I just bought the TND 740 off the RMN website, and although the DC 200 S isn't currently available, What are the key key advantages & differences between the DC 200 S and the ELD 50? Aside from the obvious, and already advertised stuff from the company website, what's the advantage of forking out the extra $200 and waiting till the DC 200 S becomes available again?

I send this question up to some folks on inside sales that I know... I am learning the ELD50 right now and have not gotten the DC200S manual yet to read.

Keep with it, and let me know. I can't make a decision until the DC 200 S is back available. I bought the TND 740 before I knew the 200 S wasn't available. Supply vs: Demand, I guess. I'm exempt till March 2018, but would prefer to get something up and running now. Basically, I'm curious as to the major differences between the two options, and why would a person spend the extra $200 on the 200 S. :)
