Must Have Equipment

it is high up on my list,I don`t like driving down the road without one

 

still useful, some receivers use them.

 

ok penny,some receivers use the cb to let you know to come get your paperwork,you`re empty.I use my cb to stay on top of what the road conditions are like ahead of me.Things like construction backups,ways around the backups etc.Many drivers wait untill they hit the backup and then want to know whats happening?
they should have checked earlier.Sometimes i just like to hear the drivers fuss over the radio.Quite entertaining at times
also,they can be handy if you are looking for directions or info on a shipper or reciever or if someone else is looking,then we can help them

 

yea,when they get to cussing each other out or some guy gets to preaching,i turn mine down!

 

I have a small tool box I carry just in case.If something happens,I may be able to fix it and get on down the road.Those road call mechanics will rip you off big time.
I have a orange vest i carry and use quite often,and a hard hat.One in a rare case they ask if I have a hard hat,not too often.Maybe once a year.I have a old large print atlas,it tells me where the low bridges and no truck routes are.When I was new,it was worth it`s weight in gold.
