It seams that most of these trucks are 2011-12 wondering if those model years had an issue that is being covered up. I have a 2015 and ( knock on wood) no issues yet other then injector cups

Spend $2800 bucks and delete all that ########. Then you will have a bullet proof truck with no problems. I dont stress as much anymore for a very good reason.

Which is total bs cuz those new trucks are $150k. Also they still break. Just gotta have a warranty. Not to mention now you gotta run your ### off to pay that $3k a month truck note. And it will only be worth $30k in a few years.

These new trucks are stupid. They cost a ton and are just as unreliable as your old emmissions truck. The only saving grace is a warranty...but like I said these trucks values drop down so much...is that warranty really gonna pay for itself? Food for thought. The EPA can pack sand.

I hear your pain! I paid 12,600 cad (Canadian dollars ) today for turbo , air to air and DPF . I blew turbo Saturday before Christmas in London Ontario with heavy load on snow and cold. I thought was the actuator only because i could still move the truck (with zero boost pressure and was not smoking) to first exit dropped trailer and drove bob 100 miles home to Windsor with zero boost pressure because i couldn't find a car to rent; Well was a bad idea, i damaged the inter cooler and filled up DPF filter with oil. Bad idea to drive this chity emission trucks with bad turbo, mine in 2010, DPF only, would have damage the SCR also.

I paid about $1800 today for a delete SCR plug and play from OTR. They also have an EGR delete kit for about $1100. It requires so manual labor but if you have any mechanical skills it doesnt look to difficult. I got to the point many of you are. Codes 5394 17 4094 18 along with the 5246 derate. Purchased this 2012 with D13 and only 397,000 miles. Been in the shop 4 times since. Hopefully tomorrow night i will be able to be up and running again.

Like premier said. OTR performance. I got the egr and dpf/scr delete. I had to do it. I just couldnt take the derate #### anylonger. I was about to have a mental breakdown.
