Well, I hope @Broke Down 69 isn't watching his Gamecocks game vs Michigan right now, because they are really stinking it up.

Whiskey Pete's, a haven for broken down gamblers.who can no longer afford Vegas. I'd rather be just about anywhere but here, but a wall of traffic leaving Vegas and heading for hell...er, LA, put an end to my day here. Don't have to be to my drop until 1100 Wednesday so I'm going in to eat then I'm headed foe bed with no alarm set, just sleep until I wake up. Pretty uneventful drive out, little snow, some slick canyon roads this morning, but pretty easy run so far. Hopefully, I'll be able to get in and out of California quick this time.

    More later...

Hesperia, California at the Pilot. If it weren't for the Outpost Cafe, I'd buy a couple gallons of gas and rid the world of this dump. But good food is hard enough to find out here so no arson today. Now why, you may ask, have you stopped 155 miles after starting. Well, I have a dispatcher who must own stock in this particular Pilot, and.when I said I was thinking about rounding out a 34 where I was at, he went completely apoplectic and insisted I come here. So instead of having a fresh 70, I've got 19 hours.and don't begin recapping for 3 days...and a 2100 mile run to Chicago coming out of here. So I get to stress out the whole way there about my clock. Man, there are times I'd dearly love to stomp a mudhole in some.people then walk it dry. Oh well, griping ain't going to change nothing, but once I'm in my truck I think I may take a little break from California.
