First week on eld

Well I did not drive a truck back then. Was in the Marine Corp. But know you did not have to work a logbook. I do appreciate the advances in technology. I am mainly trying to speak about the difference in this country now and then.

 

Your right I don't get it please explain it to me as your the one that made the statment in the first place and still haven't offered up an explanation/ opinion as to why it's encroachment.

Paper is tracking as you log your locations it. Granted it not as specific but between it and bol's your being tracked. ( manually)
Along with anyone who's been with a carrier that's had a Qualcomm in the the truck you've been being tracked electronically for many yrs already. Lol

no. paper logs are not "tracking". it in no way "tracks" your locations.

you said it tracks your location. and yet you can't say how.

for a guy that demands answers over and over you can't seem to provide any of your own.

writing down beginning and ending locations is not vehicle tracking. the logbook is not actively recording when and where the truck is. it in no way compares to a ELD/AOBRD.

so explain your stupid little statement that it is,and quit deflecting.

its a monitoring device in the truck , how can you not see that as an encroachment , compared to a paper log , when the next wave of new ELDs come out with cameras , that will be a further encroachment . Sometimes I wonder if your serious or joking .
Our rights are being chipped away and you act like it's not happening .

 

I already gave my explanation as to why your already being tracked.
You have not oferred up even one oppion as to why the ELD law is an encroaching law.

So again please explain how the ELD law is an encroaching as you stated.
