Again, I wouldn't take it anyway. I don't know you, and have no way of knowing that you have 23 years of experience, and aren't just some mal-adjusted basement-dweller who thinks trucks are kewl and the internet is your personal make-believe playground to make up self-important stories to impress people in ways you never could in person. Those people exist. And to assume you AREN'T one of them would be foolish, until and unless I had reason to do a background check on you. I have met some wonderful, experienced truck drivers who have offered fantastic advice which I gratefully consider. I listen to podcasts from verifiable experts in the industry, and I do my own research and ask questions from known sources when necessary.

I am in no way saying I know everything, or much of anything really. I just have no reason to believe YOU, in particular, know anything. Why do you need strangers on the internet to listen to you, anyway? Seems like an awful need for attention and approval. If you are an expert, then you can rest easy in that knowledge without my approval or attention. I assure you, I pick my advisors as carefully as possible. And cartoon posting egomaniacs on the internet do not qualify. :)

And here I am taking the bait again. -_-

I agree, I wasn't giving life advice, I was giving business advice and as my daughter said "when you ask for any advice in a forum, don't bit the hand that feeds that advice."

It isn't hard to figure out why her DM is "rude" to her. Im sure when she quits he will have a nice cold one and sigh " thank god, someone else's problem now" LOL.

My DM is a she. And why do you think that my disinterest in the unrequested advice of unverified strangers is reason for someone to be rude to me? Do you take advice from random strangers on the internet over family, friends, loved ones, and verified experts? If so... well... I guess that's just another reason for me not to be interested in any advice you may have to offer. Why do you have such a need for a complete stranger, who didn't ask you in the first place, to take any of your advice? You come across as extremely needy and insecure. I basically walked into a room and asked if anyone knew a company I might work for. Someone else whom I didn't know and didn't ask started giving me advice about whether or not I even had a good reason to leave. I politely told him that advice was unwelcome and unnecessary. You then barged in and declared that I'm an idiot for not listening to him or you about that thing he wanted to tell me that I never even asked. If I want general business advice, I have a father, a husband, a sister, 2 brothers, and numerous friends for that. I also have verifiable sources of expertise I could ask. Why do I have any need or want of you, or anyone else here for that? Especially when you behave so bullying and childish when shrugged off.

Again, I got more than what I was even hoping for when I posted the question, so apparently biting the hands that offer unwelcome, insulting, attention-needy, harassing, and ignorant advice worked out quite well for me. Sorry that you need me to suffer for not needing you. I promise, I won't. :)
