Okay guys I found two threads about this company and most store 5 years old. Trouble is when you have such a common name as online you get all kind of stuff pop up but nothing you really looking for LOL. Anyway I've talked to these guys they have CDL training where you're paid $75 a day while in training and they put you in a Quality Inn down the road from them in a room by yourself which to me is awesome. Once you finish the 3-week classroom you of course go on the road when someone for 3 to 4 weeks and that is $100 a day. Once you're finished with all your training you will run Regional and be home every weekend or so they say. Starting pay is $0.36 a mile for new CDL holders. Two things on what I could find on the company that doesn't sound great. Reviews say you get no pay raises which I do find hard to believe but that's all I got to go on even though the recruiter said it's based on performance 3 to 6 months. The other is the equipment that they had in the Old Post was stated as 500000 and over miles on all the trucks. I'm thinking maybe since they have purchased these other two companies and it's been five or six years since those reviews was written maybe they have at least decent equipment now I'm not real sure. I also ask the recruiter what was the price for the CDL training if for some reason I quit or got fired what would I owe online transport and he said absolutely nothing that I would not owe $1. Any input from you guys would be appreciated thanks

Come to think of it I haven't seen any of their
    trucks in a while.

I don't know anything about this company but:
I've never heard of any company paying you
For sitting in a classroom and doing backing
Maneuvers for 3 weeks while your learning
How to drive. Not at 75 bucks a day and a motel room.

Better make sure of that. The pay usually starts once
you get your license and go with a trainer.

    2. There's no way in hell their gonna bus you out
    To their place.
    Put you in a motel,
    Get you your CDL,
Pay you 75 bucks a day while in training,
Then let you walk out the door when you get your
    License without owing them something.

    That's just common sense.
They would be a free CDL school with pay
    If they operated like that.
And we all know nothing is free.

That recruiter is lying to you.

It would be diligent to ask for contract or whatever agreement you are entering into and read it carefully. Better yet have a non bias 3rd party pick it apart.

I looked into roehl also. Per their website they have five different training facilities where you do your CDL training but I have seen threads on here that say they only do their training in Wisconsin. Funny part is you cannot just call and talk to them I have tried 3 times just to ask them one question you have to fill out an online application. And trust me it takes about 20 minutes to do that which is no big deal but honestly fill out an application just to ask a question. All these trucking companies seem to be shady as hell. Just think of what Freight charges will be in the next 3 or 4 years after the Baby Boomers retire and the fact that if you decide to get in this field you have to jump through so many #### hoops , crazy regulations and be ripped off for a year if you do not have the money to pay for CDL training on your own. Before it's over with if you're a company driver you're going to have to run teams because they truck cannot make enough money 2 operate unless Freight charges go up.

Roehl says the same thing except s 500 a week. Look them up on trucking truth and look up and it says $500 a week from day one of your training page 4

Cdl's fall under government funded programming due to the high need of drivers across the country, something to maybe look into.

I talk to online again and they said they will put it in writing and this is from start to finish. Your first 3 weeks in training while you are training to get your CDL license they will put you in a motel room by yourself and pay you $75 a day for Monday through Friday for 3 weeks of the training. You'll pay move to $100 a day when you run your 4 to 5 weeks in a truck with a trainer. Pay starts out for new drivers when you get in your own truck at $0.37 a mile after the first 6 months you move to $0.39. I'll shoot you not that's what the person said and they would send it to me in writing before I accepted the bus ticket. Hell you can't beat that if that's true

Hate to tell but yes there are companies doing this to get drivers in the door... they will have him sign a contract, and they will pursue him should he leave before for filling his time with the company! It’s cheap labor and believe me when I say they win in the contest over time, rookies are cheap on the front end if you manage them right, starting with good training... everybody is always complaining about all the accidents Swift gets into, most are less than $2500 dollars and the truck is earning that easily with a driver who’s only making 30/33 cpm, no detention, no layover, out of this world insurance that they are paying for, the student that is!
Experienced drivers demand it all, and rightly so... they have good clean records and lots of miles, so they should be paid well and you can hold their feet to the fire with equipment damage and so on, getting high value loads moved quickly and on time, so you give the high dollar loads, they big money loads to your big money drivers and you expect their experience to deliver!

What’s your obligation to them, how long do you have to stay with them to repay your training? Although this all sounds very good, I would try to find someone that traveled that road before you go down it, if you know what I mean!
