Must not run in snow country. :)
I started the day with no blindside. After 100 miles of road salt and grime hitting the back window (btw, how does that even happen, much less so bad) I no no longer have a back window until I get to a truckstop, or in my case our yard.

A little...... everybody goes off duty at a truck wash or dock.
    BUT
Elogs will hurt the drivers that spend 12 hours making 3 stops to slow grocery warehouses and then wanting to log those 12 hours off duty so they can pick up a load and drive 15 more hours.

    Oldironfan and BigBob410 Thank this.

Heck no! Just the other day I was going to be about 5 mins short of making it to Laramie, WY... So when my elog clock said 1 min remaining I pulled to the shoulder, went off duty, waited 30 seconds, then drove on into the truck stop. My eld will not kick me into drive until a certain distance or time in motion is detected... Not sure what that distance is yet... I'm sure ill get a violation finding out some day.

I have a sliding rear window. If it's too dirty to see through, I open it up and there's not even a piece of glass behind me.

When you don't have A/C, air flow is your friend...

I'll probably be cutting a hole in my driver's door this summer to install a kick vent like the older Macks had...'til now always had stickers in the way. Since I'm the one that stickered up the door this time, I made sure they wouldn't be in the way. Floor gets a little toasty on those 100+ degree days.
