Did anybody get inspected for ELD yet?

I'll bet that's about right, and they certainly need to be held accountable for it.

 

Yeah 14 pages of drama and not much of inspections info

 

I had a full blown roadside DOT inspection today. Handed them my paper logs and he said looked good. Never even mentioned ELD. I am running under the less than 8 days in 30 exemption but he never even asked about it.

Hey guys, in the future, let's mention where we get inspected? Try to figure out who's being struck and who barely gives a [explitive]

 

Buddy of mine got picked this morning in Canadian, TX. Officer looked inside, saw the tablet, and that was that.

Officer told him that for the time being most officers will still let you by with paper even if the truck requires elogs, but it will most likely cause a more thorough inspection.

Pretty much exactly what we were expecting.

 

Agree....I think that fellow that said something about old outlaw drivers retiring needs to look at who causes the most accidents...40 years accident free here and I’ve always been an outlaw....
