I'm trying to delivery a load in Phoenix,AZ. Appointment time 4am 01/05/18. I got here at 3.30 and they told me that somebody changed the appt time . New appt 4am 01/08/18. They told me that there is no way to delivery the load today. What you will do?
Did you ever pay someone at receiving to deliver a load earlier ?

Call dispatch. Dump in a drop lot and move on with life.
If you are a l/o call the broker. Either negotiate a good rate for you to sit on it, or take it back refused.Grubby, SingingWolf and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
The broker didn't get at the office yet. I sent them an email, try to call.... nothing yet.
SingingWolf Thanks this. -
IMHO...$950.00 a day for 3 days or it goes back. I would give the broker until 830am and then I would already be rolling back. Mercy is for God to dole out.

Grubby, SingingWolf, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
Get layover pay, I know Wally world charges now for early delivery. I've had my company pay $120 to get loaded a day early one time at a shipper. Beat sitting a full day and got ahead of the load since I had to drive 2900 miles
