FOR EXAMPLE - note this is just an example... I am not pushing Rand's product. I went and tried to find Rand's ELD-50. It would not find...But it shows a 6 pin or 9 pin.. I found it the easiest by Manufacture. So if the LEO tried by Model or anything but manufacture it may not have shown up.

Here is the example of how it could be hard to find the device if you don't enter correctly. Lower/Upper will not make a difference. They have coded to take lower case to upper.

A cop not knowing the law? I am shocked! Oh wait, I was a cop for 8 years, ask ten cops about a certain law, and be prepared for 10 different answers. Oh and be prepared to be a little dumber afterwards.

I am actually a little bit of a geek in that I do read the DOT green book to learn certain things. The law enforcement academy concentrates probably 80 percent of its time to physical fitness, shooting , defensive tactics and driving. Very little is devoted to learning criminal law, and since there isn’t much continuing education except for a few days a year, a lot of cops are ignorant of most laws. The smart ones become truck drivers.
