All shippers and receivers take forever with reefer.
That's why they all have to pay $5-$10 a mile now for holding up all the trucks on elogs.

It's soo sad they can't get their act together.

    It'll never change, I don't think.
I used to pull a reefer as a company driver many years ago. And it never ceased to amaze me at how little regard to your time they had.
But, I suppose times are changing, and if they're paying detention pay as well as 5-10 dollars a mile, I suppose that would soften the blow somewhat.
But, as a company driver, it used to drive me absolutely Mad!! LOL

I don't know how a company driver can survive doing reefer unless having a lot of drop and hooks or cross country loads.
These flease carriers paying $1 a mile to do reefer frankly I don't know how they even make their truck payments.

All this places have to pay a fortune to move their loads and it's mainly all their fault as a collective for holding up trucks forever.

I'm sure it smells lovely there to. They are processing that fresh kill as you wait. I hated doing those loads. Of course you'll need a washout after delivery also.

Well, this was in the Early 90's when I was just breaking in, I was making a Whopping .30/mile. Usually had at least 4 pics and as many drops. Each of which, was a minimum of 4 hours/per. So long days!!!
I did it for about two years. I couldn't wait to drop that Reefer.
But, I tell ya, if your pulling down that kind of revenue. It may just be worth it.
Maybe the shoe has finally been placed on the other foot and these Shippers and Recievers are having to Dole out some serious cash, as a result of their incompetance.
Your doing Awesome driver!! Wish I was in your shoes!!! Best Regards
