Are you forced to do team driving on this Walmart account? recruiter said it is a solo, local account. however, they want you to sign a consent form to do team driving.

The Walmart dedicated accounts are solo. Target is team and solo.

I'm on the Houston account, the team waiver is sent to everyone pretty much.... I asked my recruiter the same thing.
It's a pretty easy gig and I make 900-1000 for 5 days of work. It's not a job to retire from

$900 to $1000 sounds good. my recruiter said there's a $850 guarantee pay if you make yourself available to work 70 hours.

They call it a true up.... It works like this:
One week you make 700 and the next you make 900- they through in 100 to get you to 1700....
But you can lose the guarantee- like late back hauls, damaging equipment, no call no show up for work....
It's not a bad gig but you have to hustle and put in some time to get some seniority showing that you are a worker. The #####ers, whiners, and people who are trying to get paid for doing very little never seem to get the good loads

I'm supposed to be starting on this account soon and I have a couple questions for you.
How many hours do you work on this account per day on average?
What locations do they go to most for this DC?
And do you drive the same truck everyday?

Hec2227 I drove for Clarksville/Greatwide/USX out of Terrell Walmart account for several years as a O/O. USX is a ok company but as said in previous posts you gotta put the work in. They will defiantly work that 14 hr clock daily. You will drive mostly at night and a whole lot of Houston as well as other places. This is a slip seat operation, different truck day to day. FORCED DISPATCH. Dispatch hours and times are all over the place. Then when you get there, there could be a problem with your load and it not be ready. Then you set and wait and not being paid for that time.(and still expected to do your run) The 2 days they tell you you will have off forget that during the busy season. 34 hr rest and they will blow your phone up. They have a high turn over and a lot is due to how dispatch handles the drivers. Don't let this scare you off. Knowing the facts is better than facing the unknown. It is a easy job that has its ups and downs. Good luck to you
