How do you get a 3year deferment for "unreasonable noise.?" Not a joke question.

Unless I am missing something, it shouldn't be an issue for employment. There are plenty of much worse convictions many other drivers have had.

I think you should just (test) the waters and see who bites. I do know that a lot of carriers don't like to hire people on active probation, but I do know some that has. Another issue is what was the charge. There are some non felony charges that can cause you problems. DWI/DWI or reckless driving etc etc. You are never going to find out for sure until you start submitting applications.

I couldn't see this causing you huge problems. Call Britton Transport and talk to Kassie. They take stuff like this on a case by case basis. Just be honest about it. And maybe be able to tell her where you are relocating to. Many companies should hire you as long as you can documents that you have no active probation appointments and no travel restrictions. That's the big one. Can't have travel restrictions in OTR trucking.

This is funny to me because I know a guy that was charged with assault because he passed some gas while in a police station in Lancaster. The Judge tossed it of course but to this day I laugh about it when hearing this stuff coming from that state.

Where is your location in California; city/town?
You're hirable, don't worry. Get all the endorsements though and you'll have more job opportunities.
You'll graduate with a California CDL, so look for a company that hires California drivers plus runs all over the country, so you and the finacee can look around and decide where you want to relocate to. Look at states with no personal income taxes.
