Did you show them your official CAT weigh bridge ticket showing the 34,000 lb? Why would it change so much thats over 1000 lb extra something don't add up thats for sure. The only thing that i would of thought would change that is fuel if you put around 300 gal in that'd be around 2000 lb extra.

Every time you get on DOT scale (Or any scale) have that rig settled so she floats nicely in place. IF the scalemaster is any good he'll allow a moment to stabilize the final numbers.
