Just started a new tour and its going like my last load did. Picked up from campbells, reefer keeps failing to start. Sitting in the shop right now seeing if it can be fixed. If not, they told me to just bring it back to fargo where my drop is and everything should be fine. At least shop and dispatch is saying it so it shouldnt be on me if something happens. Its a carrier unit too.

Good thing it’s just canned soup and not temperature sensitive.

    Knucklehead Thanks this.

If you're hauling canned soup to Fargo in the dead of winter, it's temperature sensitive.

    Lowlite and ncmickey Thank this.

It stayed in temp until I was able to get it into the shop. I had 2 options, wait 4 hours where I was at, or schedule an appointment for a place 3 hours away in route. I chose the latter so I could put some miles down. Wasted too much time dealing with it and only made it to mauston.

Also had to get another mud flap replaced, and replace another glad hand seal lol. Noticing some glad hand seals are tiny and form a crappy seal so I stocked up on the good ones.

So you want to be a trucker.... lol

Is there a way to tell if you have a live load/unload vs a drop and hook? It would be really helpful for planning purposes. They told me when I picked up my load it was preloaded, but not that my finale was a drop.

If it doesn’t show in your load info in Peoplenet, call your dispatcher and ask.

    Ray Strack Thanks this.

Peoplenet really sucks! It’s not very user friendly at all!

Ray Strack and Lowlite Thank this.
