i have a water pump leak drip what is a fix that works but doesnt break the bank

Changed the one on my isx took 3 hour an 380.00 for the pump

 

Bubble gum over the leak?

If a water pump replacement is going to break the bank your prospects as an owner/operator look kinda bleak.

Put a new one on. Simple. With today’s freight rates that shouldn’t be an issue.

 

Bubble gum is for kids..adults use jb weld..

 

Well usually when coolant leaks out the weep hole that means coolant is passing through the bearings. Only a matter of time before it comes apart and you're stranded.

 

But he wanted cheap so figured that when the gum lost its flavor he could put it over the leak.
