FBI Rapback Program 2017

So a guy that I work with at FEDEX recently was convicted of a speeding ticket in NYS in his personal car. Within two days of the conviction, FEDEX terminated his lease. FEDEX found out before he reported it on his annual violations disclosure. Two days after that he got a letter from one of these companies that apparently FEDEX hired to keep tabs on their contractors/drivers and alert them to any type of activity and, they were letting him know that they were the ones who dropped the dime on him.I read my lease several times and I don't see that part anywhere in it where they notified us they were going to be using a constant monitoring service, nor did I see the part where I signed off on it.

AM I ok with it? Some companies are in a position that they need this type of service. I am not sure how I feel about it yet. More big brother, more Law enforcement watching over the most regulated industry in the world? Do we really need more regulations and red tape? No.

 

Only a matter of time before a PO'd now-out-of-work driver shows up at their door.

 

Already happened a couple of times. A few years back.

 

Elog lovers will say... "it'll help keep us safe. And if your not doing anything wrong then you have nothing to hide"

 

This country will kill itself thinking they are saving everyone. Take a step back from technology and just live life.

 

I'm not talking about showing up at their former company, but rather paying a not-so-friendly visit to the professional rats who sent the letter bragging about it being them who notified the company.

 

With the population growing and more thinking they are entitled this will happen to protect the real entitled ones. You are just a number, you will be watched and tracked, Many of us were lucky, we grew up with wars that controlled people, now we just have police actions and they use technology because it is there. Like all them unmanned drones they unleash on the "emeny", those are just our children playing another video game... We will blast ourselves back to the stone age again, it is only time.
