    Check your shocks, and spring bushings. And tires can be out of round if new also. Balancing tires is a good thing also.

    I believe this because I have one that is wearing odd in 1 rib in spots, and the guy said tire is not perfectly centered on rim.

    Thank you for your input. This sets my mind st ease.

    No they just balanced them and put them on the truck. It was one of the “you can’t be in the shop while we work on your truck” kind of shop they seemed pretty knowledgeable but idk. So you suggest lift the truck and spin the wheels and check for out of round?

    Yes, spin it and if it’s out of round, the heavy part of the tire(out of round) will rock back and forth at the bottom. Does that make sense ? A perfect round tire just stops, if it’s out of round, it will keep rocking back and forth.

    I had same issue. New steers fixed it. The old steers really didnt look that bad out of round but it didnt take much apparently.
