Slightly but I haven't paid any attention for the past week plus. Had to get my driver home, truck to the shop.
Last two loads were Kansas city to Houston for $4,000 and then Houston to Cincinnati for $4,000 also for what info that's worth, booked last week.

Rates are still nuts for dry vans. I ran 1500 miles this week for 5200 Mon-Fri. You can fall out of the truck right into a pile of money right now. This can't continue, but gotta make hay while the sun is shining.

Hasn't that truck been in the shop for a while or maybe I'm just not paying full attention? What is wrong with it?

I thought you had 2 trucks, guess I'm wrong. I wouldn't watch the board either if trucks in the shop.

I do have two trucks but everything is a process.
First was to focus on one truck and make sure I can make money and be treated well at my new carrier along with get a driver. All that has worked out and I have started the process to add on the other truck but ultimately need more driver/s before having everything finalized. There was a deer hit, it's all a long story.

Yeah that’s not even close to being true. You may have an issue here and there but to say it’s normal is more than misleading. It’s a lie. We have more loads than we do drivers available. I typically sit for my 10 and then I’m gone. I run off recaps every week because of the time constraints on making on time delivery. I also know how to maximize my time so that my on duty not driving is kept to a minimum. I hold miles most weeks because I don’t want to turn in too many for tax purposes.
I get plenty of rest. But I also get plenty of miles.
