    That reminds me.

I valued the mind. More than the technology.

I tried some of the technology years ago as a experiment. I realized one day how stupid it has made me. It literally erases the mind over long term.

Im pretty getting to where I am going to get sarcastic and say that People wont even know they are dead without googling it.

When I was a kid, I knew the phone numbers for all of my friends and most of my family. Those old rotary phones were great for that...taught patience. When I got my first cell phone, the internal phone book meant never having to SEE a phone number, let alone dial it. What is REALLY bad is that I've been married to my wife for almost 4 years now, and we dated for 12 years or so before that...and if I lost my phone, I couldn't call her because I don't know her number. So, I don't lose my phone...problem solved.

And for what it's worth, this is my "phone" app...

My father-in-law had just given in to my mother-in-law last spring and bought a cell phone that she requires him to keep on him. Mostly because of his heart, but if something does happen to him while in the fields, it'll assist in him getting help

I suggest using or teaching that ticker heart gentleman how to speak to the phone, it's quicker to bark a couple words than it is to fumble with a dial pad with fingers turning to potatoes in a hurry prior to passing out. I think there is a voice command function that might assist in that.

Some phones even have a sensor that tracks the heart on the body somewhere and automatically calls out should the heart quit.

Then there are those like me. My Ex gives me a kiss and a smile each day, it might be my last. Or hers. But when you have faith the actual death does not have any power. It's a passing through when it's time. No worries.
