Please do not park next to me. For something that costs 12 K or whatever this thing should be making less noise than mosquito.

I know, really surprised at this thing. And yes, I try to be a good neighbor. ;-)

Really? The old ones were set at 12.15, which is too low in my opinion but a fully charged battery is 12.6-12.7 static. I would think it wouldn’t ever shut off.

Do you know if the older units can be changed? I’d like to turn mine up to 12.4.

I had the dealer bump my old one up. They used their laptop to hook to the board, took a minute or two to do. I believe you can do it on the control panel if you have the instructions, I have seen them but never kept a copy.

Unfortunately, that is one thing that can’t be changed at the control panel. I’m a cheap ###—I’ll probably just stick a resistor inline on the sense wire.

Even though I have mine set @ 12.0 when it kicks in it will run till my batteries are fully charged. With my laptop and tv going @ 12.8 it would kick back on every 10/15minutes after it shut off , very annoying, lol.
The power brick alone is 230w.
I see your other question was answered but, I did have an older and I dont recall personally how to change the bat monitor those. I can't even remember if I had a digital display panel in the sleeper.
For anyone else reading that may have a carrier, it can be done on the display .
    panel.

Personally I think it's a really good idea to change them so your not burning off a bunch of unnecessary hours on the unit.

This is the new and improved model, it has "Knobs", LOL! When I had drivers that old touch panel was a real challenge to all but one of my drivers. On the new units, they are set up for AGM batteries, in regards to the charging. I know that has changed, as this new unit rarely turns on, and when it does, it only runs for a bit to keep the batteries fresh. That is a huge improvement over my old 2007 unit. That thing would run all night in the driveway, I just turned it off and kept my fingers crossed. ;-)

Yeah my current one, 2017 model just has the 3 knobs too. To change any settings you have to hook up a laptop with the usb line that comes off the black box. And even then you have to know how to get to and open up the correct settings page.
