I went to leave around noon today, been off two weeks, had a Tri-Pac installed... Fire the truck up, check all systems... Coolant level low light on, and blower motor in the sleeper grenades... I went and bought a new fan motor up at FleetPride, $179 for a $30 motor. Cheaper than the dealer who wanted $225 for the same part. Snowed today, wanted to be out of here before my dirt road was impassable with the truck, well I missed that. Now, going to go drain a few inches out of the coolant jug and will put the new coolant level sensor in... It never ends.
Some days truck ownership sucks...

Recovering a truck while it is in the shop for a fuel injector. Apparently no one around here stocks parts for an N14.

To quote the late Gilda Radner,
"It's always something, if it isn't this it's that". All that went away when I started driving a company truck again, but then, I was stuck in a POS company truck.Grubby and Mattflat362 Thank this. -
It really does, our "used" new truck ran a short run 427 (round trip) miles on the odometer since purchased. Only 290K on it. Check engine light comes on 80 miles into the run, truck makes it back no problem. Take it to Cummins and roughly 5k later its getting basically a new after treatment system. Of course I've had some come together conversations with the dealership over a problem their leasing branch (where the truck came from) knew about prior to our purchase.
