Just curious and thinking about moving over to TMC myself. See a lot of of trucks parked locally on the weekends. Live in central KY very close to i64 and i75. Curious what lanes you guys from the area run most. East- west, north-south. I know there is a lot of good steel loads between Ky and Oh. Also do they do any hiring for the boat or John Deere division out of the Ky area? I've personally done a lot of research on the company and read a lot of threads also spoke to recruiter a few times. Lots of great information on here. These questions aren't deal breakers for me, more less just curiosity! Thanks and everyone have a merry Christmas!

Kentucky is right in the middle of TMC's hiring area. South Dakota, where I live, was not in the middle of their hiring area. That's why I left there. I was there almost 17 years. I even worked on the boat division awhile. There is one of the boat factories over by Knoxville, Tn. So you should be close enough to work on the boat fleet. Except for going to Canada a lot hauling boats, I really liked it. Now days, there are phone plans that work in Canada so going up there isnt as bad. I worked hauling boats from New York Mills, MN. at Lund.Highway Sailor Thanks this.

I was on the boat division as well. About the second time sitting 3 days waiting for a load out of lebenon and getting a 0 dollars pay check I moved on as well. I loved Canada.

You ate right there Highway Sailor. There isn't much to do in New York Mills, MN while waiting either. Got old pretty quick.Highway Sailor Thanks this.

yup, sat there once for 2 or 3 days at that little fuel stop.

Well I guess there are not many TMC drivers on here from Kentucky. I know there is one that drives for then where I live. Seen a truck parked in town when I was on my way out from home time on Monday.

Where are you from? Was living between georgetown and Lexington near i64 and i75 myself. Just moved to Winchester and see a couple trucks parked at the shell truck stop in Winchester and one or two every now and then at the old 96 truck stop off i64. Just like to hear some answers and opinions from local drivers of what to expect running with tmc
