Theres a day coming when law enforcement will be able to target those hard running Cowboys and get them off the road. The public is tired of their daughters being murdered by these cowboys in violation of HOS regs .

Swift, US Express, Knight and JB Hunt are the top four most dangerous fleets on the interstates today yet they are the CEOs of the biggest lobbying group to pay for the ELD mandate. Let that sink in for a minute. They hire some of the most dangerous irresponsible "drivers" in the industry. Tell me again how much they care about safety?

They'll be making driver facing cameras and speed limiters a law next. I guarantee it!

It has been little a month since the mandate went into effect and already I see parking problems have really increased. Truck stops, rest areas and ramps are full, so don't come around me and preach that ELDs will improve safety.

80% of accidents between trucks and other vehicles are caused by the other vehicles, this is a known and proven fact.

Talk about driving while tired, the ELD will cause this, as the 14 hour rule has done. Push, push and push more. Safety and ELD does not form a good marriage.

And then compare non-eld user safety records to those that use them.
Wait, you said that it wasn't about safety.

You are going to save the country right into extinction.

Tell me this, those who are praising ELDs. The other week, I arrived at a consignee, with 2 hrs left to drive and 6 hrs left on my 14. It was some 6 hours before I got to back in, out of my 14, 3 hours later I was unloaded. Now if I move, I will violate, I can't stay at the consignee, even if I could stay at the consignee, move and the ELD will put me in violation. Once this happens I would have to start my 10 hr break all over again. In other words, now it is going to take 18 hours to satisfy a 10 hr break. Does anyone sleep 18 hours????

Comparing an ELD to a 3406B is the single biggest insult I have ever seen.
On a personal level it's the dumbest #### thing I ever seen. Some have no shame
